TodayTix is seeking a Social Media Strategist to lead our social media strategy and content creation. The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for driving channel-specific and cross-channel social strategy, overseeing content development and distribution, and collaborating with key stakeholders across the Marketing department and across the company on integrating social media into campaigns, projects, and the TodayTix product.


  • Conduct regular brand and competitive social audits
  • Develop our overall social media strategy with the goal of growing and engaging TodayTix's following, raising brand awareness, driving user acquisition, and increasing customer loyalty
  • Create, schedule, and publish social content across channels
  • Devise new and creative ways to leverage social media to grow our audiences and reach
  • Weekly and monthly reporting, analysis of KPIs and developing strategic recommendations to optimize content and social strategy
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on providing social strategy around market-specific and cross-market campaigns
  • Collaborate with paid media team to strategically boost relevant content
  • Liaise cross-departmentally on social touchpoints across Guest Services, Product, Tech, and Media Sales.


  • 2-5 years of professional experience (not including internships)
  • Demonstrated audience and engagement growth on a range of social platforms
  • Experience with third party social media management and scheduling tools (i.e., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck)
  • Demonstrated ability to work beyond brand awareness and aesthetic to serve business goals on social platforms
  • Expert knowledge of social media best practices
  • Analytically minded, resourceful and a structured problem solver and know how to evaluate data with a thoughtful and critical eye.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to be self-directed when necessary.
  • Experience with analytics across mobile and web platforms
  • Passion for theater, arts, and/or culture
  • Incredible copywriting skills and a keen sense of brand voice
