A VC-backed start-up, the business has enjoyed wide success in supporting it’s theater partners and attracting new audiences through its many innovations.    

 

Due to expansion of the London Team, we now have an opportunity for a strategic senior marketer to join our high-growth innovative business, taking over the role of UK Marketing Director. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, under the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for hitting London’s acquisition targets and the overall output of the London Marketing Team. With line management responsibilities for both the Partnership Marketing Manager and Social Media Executive, you will guide the team in creating a holistic and robust programme to meet our high growth targets.

 

You will also be personally responsible for London’s awareness campaigns and above the line activity, leading the strategy to create reach and cut through among our target audience, whilst working with our Creative Team to ensure our recently re-launched brand is correctly represented.

 

Based on the above, you will have a solid background in integrated consumer marketing, particularly digital or e-commerce products. Preferably from an agency background, you’ll be comfortable working across a plethora of different projects at once, whilst maintaining the strategic thoughtfulness needed to drive the brand forward. You will also be responsible for managing the output of our agency, consultancy and media partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct both the daily and strategic marketing activity of the London business.
  • Plan and manage the London marketing budget to maximise ROI.
  • Line manage the London marketing team, setting performance KPIs for individual programmes, coaching and guiding them to success.
  • Collaborate with the wider London and Global team to share ideas and maximise growth.
  • Guide the PR output of our agency partner, maximising ROI of their assigned retainer.
  • Work closely with our Media agency partner to create robust campaigns that ensure wide reaching awareness and brand recall.
  • Adept at planning and executing integrated campaigns, on time and budget, to required KPIs.
  • Report back to the Global Marketing Director on forecast performance and provide reconciliation strategies on any short falls.

 

 

Required skilled/expertises:

  • Extensive background in omni-channel marketing, particularly within the digital consumer arena.
  • Solid line management and leadership expertise, motivating a team to not only to reach but surpass targets.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between the London marketing team and the global marketing team in NYC. Building and maintaining relationships over skype, email, etc is critical to the success of this role.
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders and collaborate across departments and disciplines.  
  • Proven planning and management skills of substantial budgets.
  • A background in planning and executing large, one-off campaigns, ensuring ROI.
  • Agency and consultancy management expertise, including both digital and ATL media buying.   
  • Ability to analysis and make data-led decisions.
