Mobile e-commerce is one of the fastest growing segments and TodayTix is well positioned to revolutionize the mobile ticketing space. Now available in 11 markets, TodayTix is looking for an experienced User Acquisition Manager to acquire mobile app users, promote usage of TodayTix and encourage in-app sales. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to create and launch effective mobile marketing campaigns, segmenting audience and optimizing for best performance, while thriving in a fast-paced environment and supporting aggressive timelines.

As a key member of the performance marketing team you will principally be responsible for driving mobile campaigns across iOS and Android devices to acquire new users for TodayTix. You must have an experience in direct response customer acquisition and performance marketing, superior analytical skills, and possess a blend of technical & business savvy.

What you'll do...

  • Establish, implement and measure the effectiveness of mobile app advertising initiatives to drive first-time purchasers as well as awareness for the TodayTix app.
  • Lead test-and-learn efforts - gather and analyze data in a rigorous statistical manner, and uncover insights to optimize marketing efforts and inform future testing.
  • Establish processes to streamline execution of mobile marketing efforts – planning, executing, reporting, monitoring, and optimization. Help to create a playbook of best practices to be used globally to manage mobile marketing, with a strong ROI-focused approach.
  • Demonstrate ability to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing advertising campaign execution, creating and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data and solving problems)
  • Collaborate closely with technical and business teams as well as external vendors to manage simultaneous time sensitive tech implementations and projects across internal and external channels.
  • Dive into the data to detect patterns and uncover insights to further inform our mobile marketing efforts. Report on campaigns and overall mobile performance.
  • Support multiple launches and enhancements globally, regularly analyzing and optimizing campaigns.
  • Perform regular status updates to communicate results across the marketing team, to senior management.

About you...

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in mobile marketing, online marketing, and/or product marketing with a focus on ROI based direct-response/performance marketing.
  • Proven track record of delivering growth from multiple sources including online advertising and/or mobile advertising, and executing key analyses with minimal supervision. Must be able to work autonomously.
  • Expertise in mobile ad tech – platforms, tracking, success metrics, geo-targeting and optimization techniques.
  • Comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions.
  • High level of aptitude with Excel (pivot tables) and Google docs required.
  • Strong time management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Tenacity and sense of urgency; the ability to make things happen quickly with large, less nimble partners and/or teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis, research, and presentation creation.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Desire to work in a start-up environment, and an excitement of what lies ahead of us.
  • Working knowledge of SQL strongly preferred.
  • Interest in e-commerce or the on-demand economy desired.

This is a full-time, exempt role based out of our headquarters in Soho, New York.
