Role Description

The TodayTix Finance team is a critical part of our company’s daily functions, working cross-functionally with Operations and senior leadership teams. Our lean-but-effective team prides itself on wearing many hats and rolling with the punches in a fast-paced environment.  This position reports to the VP of Finance. Responsibilities will include the following:

Review, record and pay vendor/partner invoices
Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
Help reconcile partner account statements
Process daily transaction uploads into Quickbooks
Complete revenue and bank reconciliations, including credit card processing and merchant bank accounts
Update monthly supporting schedules for asset and liability accounts
Perform month end journal entries
Assist with annual audit work
Perform other adhoc reporting/tasks as needed

 

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3+ years of hands-on corporate accounting experience
Experience closing books for month end is required
Experience with Quickbooks, including upload template mapping, is required
Experience working with companies that process credit card transactions is a plus
Desire to work in a dynamic start-up, and be effective in resolving ambiguities
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good judgment, tact, and courtesy
